We grow, harvest, process and produce 100% pure and natural essential oils and hydrolates on our fields in the Crimea region of Russia.
This hydrolate consists of distilled water, essential oil, components extracted by steam distillation from flower raw materials, is a colorless or slightly colored, transparent or slightly opalescent liquid. Preservatives, alcohols and other complicated chemical components for dissolving the essential oil cannot be technologically present in it, especially since there are no aromatic fragrances.
The essential oil in the hydrolate in the right concentration, it preserves, does not spoil. With proper storage - in a dark, cool place - these hydrolates can be stored up to 2-3 years, after which, like any "living" product, they lose their life-giving power and spoil.
Essential oils and hydrolates are obtained by steam distillation during the processing of floral and herbaceous raw materials.
Our floral and herbaceous raw materials are rose petals harvested by hand and flowering lavender, hyssop and sage harvested from our fields using special equipment.
In our factory, the raw materials are passed through with steam under pressure, which carries the volatile components of the essential oil. After condensation, the mixture of condensed steam and essential oil is cooled and divided into crude essential oil and hydrolate, also known as secondary distillate or fragrance water.
